The development is located at Gloucester House, Cambridge Road, London NW6 and is phase 3A of the regeneration of the South Kilburn Estate. The existing 1960s built Gloucester House and Durham Court buildings have recently been demolished to make way for the new scheme which consists of the construction of five new apartment blocks ranging in height from four to eight storeys.

The new apartment buildings will feature:

•  235 homes in total, including 102 affordable social rent homes and 133 homes for private sale

•  a concierge

•   basement car parking with 90 car spaces with 24 being disabled parking and 20% having electric car charging points available, with provision for a further 20% in the future

•   An energy centre, which is being provided by the London Borough of Brent, to provide heating and hot water to the development and future phases of the South Kilburn regeneration.


As part of the development there will be extensive landscaped areas for public use as well as a secure courtyard and children’s play areas for the exclusive use of residents.

There are two phases to the redevelopment with completions a year apart from 2020.

• The first phase is plot 5 with cores 5.1 (21 homes), 5.2 N (12 homes), 5.2 S (19 homes), 5.3 E (10 homes), 5.3 W (14 homes) and 5.4 (7 homes).

•  The second phase is plot 4 with cores 4B.1 (15 homes), 4B.2 N (32 homes), 4B.2 S (31 homes), 4B.3 E (16 homes), 4B.3 W (22 homes), 4B.4 S (22 homes) and 4B.4 N (14 homes).
